Job Description Overview
We are looking to hire smart and passionate folks for our Sales and Marketing team. The members of this team are responsible for engaging with prospects and driving sales, Business-to-Business. They understand the needs and requirements of the customers and ensure a smooth sales process.
Responsibilities (What you'll be expected to do)
- Obtain product and domain expertise by thoroughly understanding the various product functionalities, market requirements, competitive landscape, product-market fit, and so on.
- Establish and maintain a healthy relationship with partner teams, prospects, and customers in various geographies.
- Collaborate with various internal functions like marketing, and support to ensure seamless support for partners and customers.
- Understand local markets thoroughly including factors influencing buyer’s decisions like the economy, technology, and so on.
- Discover and implement new / market-specific lead generation exercises to supplement inbound lead generation, working closely with marketing teams and reseller sales teams.
- Travel to the customer's site for pitching the various products and services.
- Be the single point of contact for customers for all things technical.
- Provide a basic level of support and follow up on customer queries.
- Arrange online training sessions and ensure the customers are updated with the latest product updates.
- Handle incoming support tickets from partners, manage escalations from partners/customers.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree (preferably in Engineering or Business Administration)
- Experience or Interest in Business Development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
- A good level of verbal and written communication skills in Hindi would be an add-on
- Interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport - required for close collaboration with the customers
- Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Proper email & phone etiquette
- Attention to detail, ability to articulate thoughts in a clear, concise and professional manner, both in speech and writing
- Effective listening skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to self-manage and work with minimal supervision
- Represent customers in interactions with product management & engineering
- Comfortable delivering technical sales presentations, product positioning, and objection handling
